Chair of the Ethics Sub-Committee, British Fertility Society, 2001-2005. Vice-Chair of the Royal College of Gynaecology Ethics Committee, 2002-2009. Specialist Advisor to the Parliamentary Select Committee reviewing the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act, 1990. Working Party of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, 2009. Current Committee member of the British Fertility Society. Member of the British Medical Society and of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine
