Dr Mireia Galian

From 2016 to 2018, Dr Galian worked in both obstetrics and gynaecology units, as a clinical specialist, in both private and public primary care centres in Barcelona. She gathered extensive experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound diagnosis, prenatal screening and hysteroscopic/laparoscopic surgery.

In 2017 she joined one of the largest, private, European IVF centres as a fertility consultant. She gained vast experience with international patients, end-to-end expertise throughout egg donation programs and extensive surgical experience in egg retrievals along with inseminations and embryo transfers. She has a robust knowhow in 3D ultrasound technique for uterine cavity evaluation and follicle measurements during ovarian controlled stimulation treatments, as well as solid expertise in preconception genetic testing and patients’ genetic counselling using NGS and Array CGH.
