Dr Tomasz Lukaszewski is a senior consultant in reproductive medicine. With over 15 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, he has worked in both private and NHS settings. His extensive professional background includes international experience in the UK at the Royal London Hospital and later at the University College London Hospital. Additionally, he has worked in Poland at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology University Hospital.

During his time at the University College London Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Minimal Access Surgery. While at the Royal London Hospital, Mr Lukaszewski made significant contributions to the Endometriosis Centre and Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic. This experience provided him with a deeper understanding of tailoring individual care for women with severe endometriosis and complex pelvic pain, addressing not only fertility issues but also general well-being.

He is an expert in fertility preservation in the form of egg, sperm, or embryo freezing. Additionally, he specialises not only in IVF treatments with or without pre-implantation genetic testing, but also in ROPA treatment (“shared motherhood”) for same-sex female couples and egg donation with surrogacy for same-sex male couples. He also provides guidance for individuals wishing to use donated gametes (sperm or eggs) or embryos.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Tomasz Lukaszewski successfully completed a 4-year PhD program in Fetal Medicine, earning a PhD degree. Subsequently, he was appointed as a lecturer by Poznan University of Medical Sciences, demonstrating his commitment to both clinical practice and academic pursuits. He has also participated in a post-doctoral program in gynaecology in Gynaecology and Women’s Health Department at the University of Minnesota, USA.

He has presented nationally and internationally at fertility conferences, including the British Fertility Society (BFS) and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). He is also a member of the British Society for Gynaecology Endoscopy (BSGE) where he taught courses at the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecology (RCOG).

  • 2015 – 2018: Lecturer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Poznan University of Medical Sciences.
